2010/2011 marks the 12th year that the Provo Blades have been playing as a team.   We are very excited to have Coach Stan Weiss from the BYU Cougar Hockey Team be involved with our program this year. He will be helping with overall skill development and team strategy. We are hoping to have a group of 20-25 girls this year and be able to play both B and C level games. We are looking at doing 3-4 tournaments including at two out of state ones.

The Provo Blades is a close knit team of girls and women from age 11 up into their late 30’s (we’ve even had 40 year olds in the past!). We accept players of all skill levels because we feel as though we have a mission to grow girls’/women’s hockey in Utah County and we don’t want to leave anyone behind.  We have fun parties and have a blast when we go on tournaments.  A lot of the girls have formed lasting friendships with teammates (and some have even met their spouses through the Blades!)
